Favourites | June 2016

Can you believe it? We are officially half-way through the year! 2016 has definitely been throwing us curve-balls left, right, and center. However, I believe that we can all come out of any struggle stronger than ever!

June was a bit of a crazy month for me. I finished my penultimate semester of my undergrad, survived swotvac, making time to socialise with friends, was constantly studying for my exams for majority of the month, on top of  working as much as I can, volunteering, finalising everything for our trip to London, and, organising the last of mine and Claire's things at our parents' house because they are moving! Whew, is anyone else exhausted after reading all that?

What's Classier Than Wine, Cheese and Talking About Art?

My best friend, Miriam, has suggested to me on multiple occasions that I should write a few posts about preppy things that you can do in Melbourne, so I thought that I might start with an area that, as an art history major, is something I am passionate about and can completely fit in with the prep life.

London Bucket List

Happy long weekend, y'all!
Can you believe it? It is less than one month until Claire and I fly out to London! The reality of it all is still sinking in. As this trip is creeping up, and Claire and I have officially booked all of our accommodation, we are now in the mode of planning our itinerary. And by 'itinerary' I mean, the list of things we want to see and do that we can refer to when we organise each of our days depending on the weather.

Outfits of the Week | Finals

Ahh yes, another SWOTVAC week has come and gone. It is weird to think that I only have one more to go through, ever! For those of you who don't know, SWOTVAC stands for Study Without Teaching Vacation. Basically, it is the week between classes finishing and the exam period starting. It is a whirlwind of revision as you try to re-learn twelve weeks worth of content, or, in my case as an Arts student, spending the week trying to write multiple essays that are most likely due on the same day, or within the same week.

My tip to surviving SWOTVAC is to dress like you still have your life together. I mean it! If you look like you are confident on the outside, eventually, internally your mind will catch up. Does this actually work? Who knows! But whatever gets you through, y'all!
