Favourites | July 2016

Happy Sunday!

July really flew by for me. I guess having a holiday smack bang in the middle of the month will do that to you. I started back at Uni last week for my final semester of my degree (!!) and had a whirlwind of nights volunteering. I am looking forward to August, as I always love the anticipation of wondering how the new semester will unfold. But I also have a few fun events planned for the month that I know are going to be great. But y'all just have to wait for next months' favourites, or follow along on social media, to see what they are.

However, there are so many things I loved, and currently love, in July.

Casual Sunday at the British Museum

Happy weekend, y'all!

Today I am sharing with you an outfit I wore on the London trip that ended up being one of my favourites. Due to time, it is the only fashion post I have lined up from London. But don't worry, as the weather warms up in the Spring and they are seasonally appropriate, I will share some of the outfits I wore in London.

London | July 2016

Welcome back, y'all!

If you have been following on Instagram or Facebook, we just got back from travelling to England! It was such a great trip for us. If you did not know from my post announcing the trip, this was mine and Claire's first time overseas. We could not have chosen a better place to go overseas to for our first time. London felt just like Melbourne, except more English. We felt so comfortable, and only slightly overwhelmed by being in a different country. It might have been the easy way out by going to one of the countries that is most like Australia so we didn't have too much of a culture shock, but considering Claire and I planned this trip by ourselves, without any other experience travelling to a different country with our parents, for example, it was still a great learning experience.

You Can Take The Girl Out Of The Country...

Well, it turns out that you can take the girl out of the country, but you cannot take the country out of the girl! If you read my last favourite's post (if you haven't, check it out!), I mentioned that my quilted vest was my favourite clothing item for the month of June, and this outfit is why.

I like to call this outfit my audition for Farmer Wants A Wife. Let it be known though, that while I am originally from regional Victoria, I did not grow up on a farm. However, this outfit gives me major country vibes. I think in Australia, being preppy can definitely verge on looking like you live and work on a farm. It is the gingham shirts and vests, for sure.
