The Eve of a New Year

Well, it looks like we made it y'all. It is the final day of the year!
Before I turn to reflecting on the year gone by, and the year to come, I firstly wanted to say a big thank-you to everyone who has supported The Aussie Prep over the past (almost) 12 months. Being able to share aspects of my life with you all has definitely been one of my highlights for 2016. As we approach The Aussie Prep's First birthday in roughly two weeks, I am extremely excited to continue building this little blog of mine, and see where it takes us.

The Thank You Note

Happy Christmas (and Hanukah) Eve Eve y'all! As Christmas is literally right around the corner, I thought that I will share with you a post I have been thinking about for a while: the art of the Thank You Note. The holidays are the time to show your friends and family how much you love and appreciate them. While this can be shown through the act of giving a gift, on the other hand, another way to show your appreciation and respect is through the thank you card/note. While my mum does not send thank you notes herself, growing up she always taught me to thank others for their kindness and generosity. This has stuck with me as I've gotten older.

Graduated in Lilly

If you thought that December could get any more exciting, what with turning 21 and it being Christmas, we all thought wrong. To add to the excitement of this month, last Thursday I graduated from the University of Melbourne! The past three years have been such a journey, I can't believe it is all over. If you wanted to hear my thoughts on finishing my degree, you can read my blog post reflecting on my Uni experience here. What I am excited to share with you all today is the outfit I wore to my graduation ceremony!

Twenty One

If you haven't been following along on social media (which you can follow here, here, and here), this past weekend, Claire and I celebrated our 21st birthday! Our birthday party was on Saturday night, and our actual birthday was Monday. So many of our friends and family came to celebrate with us and wished us love, which we were truly humbled about. We couldn't of asked for anything more!

The Aussie Prep Christmas Gift Guide

Can you believe that Christmas is less than one month away?! I have been so busy since finishing Uni that I feel like the holiday season has snuck up on me. Nevertheless, I am very excited to feel the festive cheer around the city in the coming weeks. Christmastime is truly one of my favourite times of the year. If you are feeling stress about thinking what to gift your loved ones this year, it is okay because I am here to help! For the past few weeks I have been wandering around the city looking at all of the gifts that are out there for 2016, and today, I am sharing with you some of my favourite things that are on offer.

The Cropped Button Down

Hi friends!

On Wednesday, Claire and I visited Bendigo in Regional Victoria with our dear friend, Miriam, to see the Maticevski: Dark Wonderland exhibition at The Bendigo Art Gallery.  The exhibition is a retrospective of Australian fashion designer Toni Maticevski's work so far. If you read my post discussing how I felt about finishing my Uni degree, you would have seen that I want to find a way to find a way to use both art and fashion together in my career. As the show is a fashion exhibition within an art gallery... you can see where I'm going with this. The exhibition was really beautiful, and was curated in an interesting way. I am so glad I managed to finally make my way across to see it. Also, great news y'all... the exhibition has been extended until the 15th of January! So if you have been thinking on seeing it yourselves, there is definitely still time to organise a trip to Bendigo.

Summer Reading List

Now that I have officially finished my degree, this means that I can now spend all of my time reading for leisure! Growing up I was always a bookworm. I still love reading, but I think the past three years of academic reading has diminished my spirit towards the activity slightly. I want to get back into the habit of reading so many books and novels for fun. So today I have compiled a short-list of the books I want to read over the Summer.

The End of Another Chapter...

Last week, I submitted my final assignments for my degree, ending my Undergraduate years at university. For today's post, I felt that I wanted to reflect on the past three years of this chapter in my life.

Shoes for Spring

G'day y'all!

Now that it is finally warming up in Melbourne, I am starting to realise that all of my shoes from last Spring/Summer seasons are not in the best shape. I blame our Indian Summer which left me wearing my sandals for a lot longer than usual. At least I now have an excuse to go shoe shopping!

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

G'day y'all!

Last week, Claire made the discovery that the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte has made it to Australia for the first time! Being a person who has an interest in American culture, I have heard so many things about "pumpkin spice," a flavouring which takes over during America's Fall. I had always been confused about why everyone was obsessed with pumpkin spice, until I found out that it does not actually have the taste of pumpkin in it! Rather, it is the spice mixture that goes into pumpkin pie. Now that, I knew I could get on board with.

Favourites | September 2016

G'day y'all!

Can you believe it is time for another monthly favourites post? I enjoy writing these posts because they are great to look back on and remember what was happening in my life at the time. For example, September was such a hectic month for me, but there were also a bunch of great moments that I would like to remember later on in life. This month, as I am scarily getting closer to the end of my degree, I have found myself reflecting on the friends and opportunities I have been lucky to have found in my life over the past three years. There have been multiple talks with friends about life, love, and everything in between that I have truly cherished. While the future looks like an endless, black void at the moment, I am trying to look at it as an exciting time in my life where the possibilities are endless.

The Lilly Pulitzer Shift

G'Day y'all!

I am so excited to present you one of my purchases from the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale! This is also my first official Lilly Pulitzer shift dress (not including my Lilly for Target dress), and I couldn't be more stoked about it. If you haven't heard of Lilly Pulitzer before, it is an American clothing brand that is iconic for its colourful prints with classic styles. The classic, Lilly shift dress is a staple for every Preppy gal, and now that I have my own, I can see why!

My U.S Postal Address | Auspost ShopMate

G'day y'all!

Goodness gracious (Ha. Get it?) the past two weeks have been super stressful. I apologise for the lack of posts last week. Just as I got back into the groove of posting twice a week again, Uni decided to give me two assignments due on the same day, as well as increased hours at work. But we got through it, and now I don't have another assignment due until the end of October!

One thing that was a little pick me up during the week was the arrival of my Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale order! If you read that post, you would have found out that Lilly Pulitzer does not offer shipping to Australia. Actually, a lot of my favourite preppy brands don't ship to Australia. In order to fix this, I thought that I should try one of the services that allows Australians to online shop from places that don't ship to Australia by providing them a U.S postal address.

Music for Spring

G'day y'all!

The warmer months are such a fun time, and I love having the perfect soundtrack to go along with it. One of my favourite things to do in Spring/Summer is create my S/S playlist for the next six months ahead. I do the same for Autumn/Winter and I find that both playlists have two different sounds. Whereas in the cooler months I tend to lean towards adult contemporary, and songs that are straight out of a 00's rom-com, in Spring and Summer I love mostly indie pop like Vampire Weekend, but also the occasional classic bubblegum pop and Top 40 dance track, with a little bit of country thrown in too. So much variety, but they are all upbeat and never fail in increasing my mood! Every year, there are some songs that are my go-to and always go on my playlist first. They are best listened to while looking at images from old J Crew catalogs, obviously. (The Spring 1998 is one of my personal favourites.)

Favourites | August 2016

G'day y'all!

We have officially made it to Spring! I am super excited about the next four months that remain of 2016. I feel like there are so many things coming up that I cannot keep track, and August was just the beginning. So much happened in August and I'm flipping through my Lilly agenda trying to remind myself.

Transitioning to Spring in Uniqlo

G'day y'all!

Can you believe it? Spring is two days away! While I feel that the past Winter wasn't too terrible, I feel that my Winter wardrobe was beginning to feel repetitive and uninspiring. There are only so many times you can wear a collared shirt and jumper combination in a row before you start to want something else. So, when the Melbourne decided to give us a slightly warmer, sunny day I immediately jumped on the chance to bring in a new outfit that would be perfect for transitioning from Winter to Spring, and this long-sleeved, navy and cream striped dress from Uniqlo is definitely it!

L.L. Bean Boots

G'day y'all!

One of my most prized possessions in my wardrobe, and my life, are my pair of L.L. Bean Boots. Recently I have noticed a lot of people walking around Melbourne wearing Timberland boots, and I feel that Bean Boots can fit in as another version of this trend. This post may be bordering on seasonally inappropriate with Spring literally right around the corner, but considering Melbourne's unpredictable weather, I think that I may still have a chance on making this relevant.

The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale | My Experience

G'day y'all!

One of the biggest days on every preppy style lover's calendar is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale. If you have been following my blog, you might recognise this name. Lilly Pulitzer is a brand that is one of the staples for the Southern preppy style. It is defined by it's fun, bright and colourful prints executed in classic styles.  The thing about Lilly Pulitzer, is, that they can be a little pricey, and on top of that, they are hardly ever on sale! Instead, twice a year they have a huge sale called The After Party, which is when they discount so many styles and prints from the year just gone by. All sales are final, and shipping is free (within the U.S).
(My Lilly Pulitzer collection so far: Large Agenda in Wild Confetti, and Lilly for Target shift)

East Coast Neutral

G'day y'all

Today's outfit post is a change of pace from my post earlier in the week. I feel like there are two extremes with my Uni wardrobe, and it is either super casual, like the leggings and pullover ensemble from Tuesday's post, or looking like I am on my way into the office, and not my U.S History lecture. For some reason, wearing just a casual jeans and a t-shirt never seems like an option for me.

America vs. Australia | Casual Wear

G'day y'all!
(I quite like that greeting, I think I'm going to keep it. What do you think?)

When I first started obsessing over all things preppy on Pinterest, I noticed a trend that was really surprising to me, and that was the level of casual defined as being "preppy". Suddenly, there were so many images of girls in oversized t-shirts or long-sleeves (sometimes called spirit tees) and running shorts. I am all for wearing what makes you happy and comfortable. There is no need to label your style, you do you! This was just surprising to me, that a lifestyle that is about upholding social etiquette and all that, if you will, would allow wearing oversized t-shirts and running shorts as perfectly acceptable attire to wear in public, with sandals no less!

Shopping Preppy in Australia | Seed Heritage

G'day y'all!

Seed has been one of my favourite brands since I started paying attention to it around a year ago. While it may be a 'Mum' store, I always seem to gravitate towards it. It probably has something to do with the fact that I always tend to dress like a soccer mum. While I was shopping with my Miriam during the week we decided to check out Seed and look at their latest Spring 2016 line, and oh my goodness, did I fall in love! I must admit that I was a little disappointed with Seed's Winter collection just gone. I struggled to find any piece that really spoke to me. However, I am so relieved to see that Seed has found their mojo for this new season.

Walking with Confidence

I am going to do something I haven't done in a blog post for a while, and that is talk about the weather. How nice was the sun today?! After a few dreary and rainy days, the sun was a welcome relief. I am rushing to get this post up by 5 because I got carried away sitting out in the sun with some friends this afternoon. Hopefully Spring won't be too far away!

Favourites | July 2016

Happy Sunday!

July really flew by for me. I guess having a holiday smack bang in the middle of the month will do that to you. I started back at Uni last week for my final semester of my degree (!!) and had a whirlwind of nights volunteering. I am looking forward to August, as I always love the anticipation of wondering how the new semester will unfold. But I also have a few fun events planned for the month that I know are going to be great. But y'all just have to wait for next months' favourites, or follow along on social media, to see what they are.

However, there are so many things I loved, and currently love, in July.

Casual Sunday at the British Museum

Happy weekend, y'all!

Today I am sharing with you an outfit I wore on the London trip that ended up being one of my favourites. Due to time, it is the only fashion post I have lined up from London. But don't worry, as the weather warms up in the Spring and they are seasonally appropriate, I will share some of the outfits I wore in London.

London | July 2016

Welcome back, y'all!

If you have been following on Instagram or Facebook, we just got back from travelling to England! It was such a great trip for us. If you did not know from my post announcing the trip, this was mine and Claire's first time overseas. We could not have chosen a better place to go overseas to for our first time. London felt just like Melbourne, except more English. We felt so comfortable, and only slightly overwhelmed by being in a different country. It might have been the easy way out by going to one of the countries that is most like Australia so we didn't have too much of a culture shock, but considering Claire and I planned this trip by ourselves, without any other experience travelling to a different country with our parents, for example, it was still a great learning experience.

You Can Take The Girl Out Of The Country...

Well, it turns out that you can take the girl out of the country, but you cannot take the country out of the girl! If you read my last favourite's post (if you haven't, check it out!), I mentioned that my quilted vest was my favourite clothing item for the month of June, and this outfit is why.

I like to call this outfit my audition for Farmer Wants A Wife. Let it be known though, that while I am originally from regional Victoria, I did not grow up on a farm. However, this outfit gives me major country vibes. I think in Australia, being preppy can definitely verge on looking like you live and work on a farm. It is the gingham shirts and vests, for sure.

Favourites | June 2016

Can you believe it? We are officially half-way through the year! 2016 has definitely been throwing us curve-balls left, right, and center. However, I believe that we can all come out of any struggle stronger than ever!

June was a bit of a crazy month for me. I finished my penultimate semester of my undergrad, survived swotvac, making time to socialise with friends, was constantly studying for my exams for majority of the month, on top of  working as much as I can, volunteering, finalising everything for our trip to London, and, organising the last of mine and Claire's things at our parents' house because they are moving! Whew, is anyone else exhausted after reading all that?

What's Classier Than Wine, Cheese and Talking About Art?

My best friend, Miriam, has suggested to me on multiple occasions that I should write a few posts about preppy things that you can do in Melbourne, so I thought that I might start with an area that, as an art history major, is something I am passionate about and can completely fit in with the prep life.

London Bucket List

Happy long weekend, y'all!
Can you believe it? It is less than one month until Claire and I fly out to London! The reality of it all is still sinking in. As this trip is creeping up, and Claire and I have officially booked all of our accommodation, we are now in the mode of planning our itinerary. And by 'itinerary' I mean, the list of things we want to see and do that we can refer to when we organise each of our days depending on the weather.

Outfits of the Week | Finals

Ahh yes, another SWOTVAC week has come and gone. It is weird to think that I only have one more to go through, ever! For those of you who don't know, SWOTVAC stands for Study Without Teaching Vacation. Basically, it is the week between classes finishing and the exam period starting. It is a whirlwind of revision as you try to re-learn twelve weeks worth of content, or, in my case as an Arts student, spending the week trying to write multiple essays that are most likely due on the same day, or within the same week.

My tip to surviving SWOTVAC is to dress like you still have your life together. I mean it! If you look like you are confident on the outside, eventually, internally your mind will catch up. Does this actually work? Who knows! But whatever gets you through, y'all!

MONDAY

Navy on Navy

Y'all, I had such a great weekend. I almost forgot that I was going into Week 11 at Uni! How has this semester gone by so fast? I am getting closer and closer to Graduation, and I don't know whether to be scared or excited. I think we should settle with both for now...

If you saw my last post, you would know that my family decided to celebrate Mother's Day a weekend later, as it worked out the best for all of us to be together. That was the weekend just gone by, and it was so great to have a weekend off work and spend some time with my family. On the Saturday, my sisters, Mum and I saw a movie together at the cinemas at Crown, then treated ourselves to a cocktail afterwards at one of the bars in the Casino, while my brother and Dad went to the football. We all had dinner at Saturday night at one of my favourite places ever in Melbourne, Arbory, (Which now has Lobster Roll's on their menu -- I was in Preppy heaven)! Sunday we met up again for lunch at Fonda Mexican in Flinders Lane, before Mum, Dad and my brother, James, drove back to our hometown.

The Puffer Vest

Mother's Day is this Sunday, and it is one of my favourite holidays! (Next to Christmas, of course.) Mum's, if you have one, are the best people in the world and I am lucky every day to know that I have such an awesome woman as my mother. Sadly, Claire and I cannot see our mum this weekend, so our parents are going to come down to Melbourne next weekend to celebrate. Mum has made some plans, and I am really looking forward to it. I will have a post up about it for y'all after it happens.

Today's outfit is actually one of my all time favourite outfits to wear. I think with any Prep, you can never feel more comfortable than when you are wearing a button up shirt and a jumper. Especially during the cooler months of Autumn and Winter, the combination is my go-to outfit.

Favorites | April 2016

Can you believe that it is May already?! This year really feels like it is flying by, which is both exciting and scary. I thought that today I should share with you some of the favourite things I loved in April, because I always enjoy these type of posts. Plus this will be fun to look back on at the end of the year to see what April was like for me.

If you enjoyed this style of post, check out my friend, Christine's, own April favourites!

Fashion Blogger Fails

Today I thought I would share with you some of the photos I like to call 'Fashion Blogger Fails'. With every photo shoot, there are always a few photos that make me laugh (or cringe). I think this is mainly due to the fact that I find it hard to not talk while taking photos, and the issue of wind always blowing in my face. I have been saving a few of these photos to share with you on Instagram, but I thought that it would be fun to put them all in a post together since I have been too busy this week to take some outfit photos for y'all.

Meet Claire

I have a special post for y'all today. I thought that it is time that I introduce you to the Claire I tend to mention in posts from time to time (like here, here, here, and here)!

Claire is my identical twin sister, and she is a big part of The Aussie Prep. She takes all of my fashion post photos for me, listens to me talk out all of my post ideas, and occasionally publishes posts for me when I can't. She really is such a trooper, as she does all of this without any complaint! How great is having a twin sister, guys?

The [Aussie] Prep's Guide To Monogramming

If you have been following The Aussie Prep from the start, firstly, thank you for sticking around, and secondly, you might remember the iconic quote from Reese Witherspoon, "my motto is, if it's not moving...monogram it!" from one of my first posts. Monograms are one the biggest parts of the prep life. When I decided to commit to the preppy style, ordering a monogram necklace was the first thing I invested in. Having a monogram is one of the things that separates being preppy from being someone that likes to wear collared shirts under jumpers.

Soccer Mum Vibes

You know that feeling when you put on an outfit that you just love? It makes you feel amazing inside and so confident that you find yourself walking around with more purpose than usual. This is one of those outfits for me.

I don't actually know why I love this outfit so much. If anything, it is quite a classic, simple outfit.  It doesn't do anything new or surprising. I think this might be the reason though. The blue and white striped button down shirt paired with my white jeans from GAP is so classic that I feel like I have nailed my aesthetic right on the head.

Shopping Preppy in Australia | Dotti Winter 2016

On the weekend I popped into Dotti to have a look at the new arrivals for Winter (and possibly because Claire was trying on a few items) and y'all, there are so many cute and perfectly preppy things that I knew I had to share with you.

Dotti is definitely one of those stores that can be a bit of a hit and miss with each season. Sometimes their lines can be perfect, and other times you can just not feel it. Preppy style, while it is such a classic look, does have its moments where it is actually on trend. Following from this, Dotti is a iconic Australian brand so any take on the preppy style will definitely have that Aussie flair that influences my look.

Announcement time...

So in case you haven't noticed, I do not have an outfit post for you today. Instead, I have something I would like to share with y'all...

The Aussie Prep (and her twin sister) are going to LONDON!

Top 10 must do's in London

Style Inspiration | Kate Middleton

G'day all!

Today I bring you the next post in the style inspiration series! If you haven't seen my previous posts in these series, be sure to check them out after you have finished reading this post. These posts are really fun for me, because I get to gush about the women I love, and share with you who I look to for inspiration. It is always interesting to hear who people are inspired by, as they are different for every individual.

Spotted Cropped Pants

Happy Friday, y'all!

Something I do once a week is volunteer at an art gallery. As I am only a volunteer, I can dress casually (as long as it is appropriate of course), but I always like to dress up anyway like it was an actual job. While I am worried about finding a full time job and entering the workforce proper at the end of this year, I am definitely not worried about my work-wardrobe. I am actually excited to be able to wear work-wear and other office attire, because I know that I can definitely still have fun with it. Today's look is definitely inspired by office work wear, but with my own Melbourne preppy twist of course!

America vs. Australia | Brunch

The American and Australian lifestyles have their differences outside of fashion. You do not need me to tell you this, as it is fairly obvious in all aspects of life, and not just when it comes to being preppy. Now, would like to stress that I am inspired by the preppy lifestyle, and I am in no way changing every aspect of my life to become someone I am not. For example, as I was reading my copy of The Preppy Cookbook by Christine E. Nunn, in the chapter on brunch, Christine states that "Sunday brunch is perhaps the most important meal of the weekend for my people." Now this, I could get on board with. Who doesn't love brunch?! However, there is some differences between the American Preppy approach to brunch, and how we do it in Australia.

Good Friday

Happy Easter!
I hope that you all had a very good, Good Friday yesterday. I spent the day having a lunch with some of my closest friends. We each took in turns making a dish, and it was so much fun! Claire and I were in charge of the dessert, so Claire made some small chocolate tarts, and I tried my hand at making Chocolate Hot Cross Bun and Butter Pudding (a twist on the classic Bread and Butter Pudding). It was a success! Everyone loved it, so I am fairly proud of myself.

Errands Day Casual

Hello Friends!

Due to the lack of outfit post on Friday, I have decided to make it up to you by bringing you this outfit on a Tuesday. This outfit is actually one of my favourite weekend outfits, so when I wore it on Sunday it was not a hard decision to want to write a post about it. As a Uni student, weekends don't usually follow the typical weekend routine. As there are no classes on Saturday and Sunday, weekends are usually reserved for picking up shifts at work, studying, and running errands. Which, when you think about it, isn't too different from what my weekdays look like. One thing I am actually looking forward to about graduating and having to join The Real Full Time Job Workforce is the potential to have my weekends back for brunching, gallery visiting and proper relaxing.

Rainy Day Fashion

Happy Friday, y'all!

Sadly I do not have an outfit post for you today. Yesterday was quite humid that I did not feel like taking photos, and today it is raining! I know I talk about the weather a lot, but if you live in Melbourne it is ind of valid. The weather is so unpredictable! Today I thought that I would share with you the perfect preppy items to keep you dry on those rainy days. Especially because we are surely but slowly easing into Autumn, and then into Winter it is always a good idea to make sure you have the appropriate rainy day items.

Favourite Preppy Blogs for Inspiration

Hi friends!

I apologise that today's post is not up at midday as per usual on Tuesdays. I am actually posting this from Claire's (my twin sister) laptop because I think my computer has officially died. It was working totally fine last night as I was writing this post, but come the morning it wont turn on again! One of my friends has offered to come by later today to have a look at it (thanks Nathan!), but I am not sure if there is much we can do. Good thing I haven't seriously started any of my assignments for the year yet in case I need to buy a new computer and we cannot access my old hard drive. I will keep you updated!

Autumn Plaid

Happy Fashion Friday, y'all!

What a week it has been! My week hasn't been particularly busy, but with the Melbourne weather being all over the place I feel like this week has been a whirlwind. Melbourne is known for it's unpredictable, 'four seasons in a day' weather, so I shouldn't be too surprised. However, 39 degrees (celcius) in the second week of March? That one was actually surprising. Yesterday we had our first official taste of Autumn and I was loving it! As I have mentioned in previous posts, Autumn is my favourite season. I always fall in love Melbourne the most during Autumn, it gets so beautiful!

Shopping Preppy in Australia | H&M

Today I bring you the first post in the series that features the stores in Australia (and also international) that you can shop to find the perfect preppy pieces. As preppy is a niche American style, a few of the brands that are distinctly for the preppy in America sadly do not ship to Australia. (I'm looking at you, Vineyard Vines!) Despite this, I have managed to find a few places locally where you can still find great, staple pieces. The first one I would like to talk about is the Swedish fashion giant H&M.

Melbourne Influenced Prep

Hello friends!

A big part of this blog is about showcasing how I, personally, adapt the American Preppy style in Australia. There is no doubt that no matter what your style is, there is still going to be influences from your own country and culture. So today I have an outfit for you that is definitely influenced by Melbourne and Australia. While I love dressing preppy -- I feel most comfortable dressed prep! -- some times I like to be more relaxed.

Follow Me Around | First Day of Uni 2016

Welcome to Autumn, friends!
Summer was actually pretty great this year, but I am so glad that it is now Autumn. Of course, with Autumn arriving, it means that Uni is back for the year. I cannot believe that this is my final year of University. Especially because I do not have plans to do any post-graduate work at this current time.

To celebrate University coming back, I thought that I would do a little 'follow me around' type post for my first day: Snapchat edition. Snapchat is super fun! I do enjoy using it, so if you would like, you can follow me @gracefulwhitex!

Brisbane Road Trip 2016

Welcome back, friends!
What a week it has been! If you haven't already heard, this week I was on a road trip with one of my best friends, Ebony, to help her drive her car up to Queensland as she is moving there for Uni. I cannot believe that yesterday I said goodbye to my best friend from High School for the last time, in who knows how many months, because she is moving literally to the other side of the country (North-South, not East-West terms). Who would have thought that this would be happening. Nonetheless, it was a memorable trip. A perfect end to Summer.

The Preppy Essentials | Autumn

G'day friends! If you follow The Aussie Prep on Instagram (if you're not, the link is here. Go follow now!), you would know that I am currently on a cross-country road trip with my best friend Ebony. I haven't brought my laptop with me, so I have written this post ahead in preparation. My twin sister, Claire (oh yeah, have I told you guys about her yet?), has been super awesome and is posting this for me, so shout out to her! Thanks Claire. Now, on to the post.

Clothing

Shoes

Accessories

Can you believe that it is Autumn next week?! Where has Summer gone? I mean, living in Melbourne we never really get a full, satisfying Summer anyway, so I shouldn't be all that surprised. Autumn is definitely my favourite month. To me, there is nothing better than Melbourne in Autumn. It is also the season where the Preppy style can really shine. I am getting excited right now just thinking about the vests, the boots and the scarves I now get to wear!

This is Claire here, signing off for Grace! She wrote this post before she left and I am here making sure she is still sticking to her posting schedule! She doesn't usually have a sign off, but she wanted me to write one anyway.

I am definitely going to steal borrow a few of these items!

What are some of your autumn essentials?
